**FAIRFAX, Va.** — The National Rifle Association has officially opened registration for the **2026 NRA National High Power Long-Range Championship**, one of the premier precision rifle events in the United States.

The competition is scheduled for **August 18–24, 2026**, at the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, New Mexico. This national championship will feature multiple long-range disciplines, including the prestigious 1000-yard matches, Palma Team events, and various individual and team competitions.
